The History of Dumbness
Don't get offended too quickly my friend but it isn't an unreasonable question to ask, "Are Canadians truly dumb... or are they simply lazy? Is there truth to the rumour that we consist of a ragtag group of uninspired, selfish, hedonist, skin wasting multitude sporting toques and offering our backsides to the world to be kicked? ... Or did I miss something along the way?
I wish I was joking but when you look at the politico-economic chaos we find ourselves in today...
you have to wonder. How dumb do citizens have to be to permit a government to have governed for nine years only to accomplish NOTHING of national value? How dumb are Canadians to have permitted this travesty upon our country?
Economically our GDP even now is pretty much circling the drain and being flushed down the toilet and has been for a decade, as every project and proposal to create jobs and industry utilizing our natural resources was refused, regulated into oblivion or removed from reality. Canadians deserve the moniker “Dumb-Ass Canucks”. It fits us to a “T”
In every respect our country has declined since the former impotent government took power. To the intellectually deficient voters who voted that government in for the second term, that bad smell is coming from where your head was stuck in that second election. What the heck were you thinking anyway? But that is self explanatory... you obviously weren't.
BUT get this straight please. This isn't Liberal bashing... this is GOVERNMENT bashing and they deserve every smack. The Liberals just happen to be in power at that time and their leader was a loser of indescribable proportion.
So, what is wrong with the Canadian populace that inspires such cowardice and surrender under fire? They (we) can all see and hear and feel our country being destroyed and yet where are the voices of protest? Where are the demonstrations? Where are the protests and rallies? Where is the resolve to participate in government at the electorate level to bring about positive changes through logical and fair legislation? Where are the ideas and solutions to changing what needs to be changed? I ask you, "Are there any testicles left in Canada?"
Canadians are generally passive to their own detriment. The problem with that of course, is that it's out of balance with reality. This country was not founded by weak-kneed, pasty faced, lazy and corrupt politicians.
This country was built upon the backs, the blood, sweat and the tears of honest and hard-working pioneer men and women from around the world. They arrived here with the dream of living in a country they would feel safe and secure, due to their hard work and the integrity instilled into the very fabric of their constitutions. They didn’t come to be taxed to death and treated as criminals if their opinions differed from the government of the day.
The list of government decisions, actions and legislationns adversely affecting everyday Canadians in their freedoms to speak, write and live their lives, is truly disconcerting for any “thinking” Canadian. (The operative word, is “think”) It's a long story but I'll make it short and simple for your tiny minds to absorb.
You see, once upon a time in 1867 to be exact, there was a country founded called Canada. Akin to the United States it was founded based upon freedom, freedom of speech, freedom of movement, freedom to work and build and profit equally on every level. They differed but not in the principe of freedom.
It was created that way because the settlers in both countries had ultimately fled the oppression, tyranny and the hardships created by oppressive governments in Europe.
They sought and fought, they bled and they sweat for something new and free ... and so they created Canada as did the 13 colonies which became the United States.
But it didn't take governments on either side of the border, in either country; to realize that the people, that is the populace, we're not anxious for the most part to take part in government operation,no, they much preferred to be led by the nose, pushed and shoved, molded and squeezed into people size boxes.to be stacked and stored or even buried at their discretion and benefit.
Governments soon also learned they could achieve complete control simply by tossing treats to the people, you know, just tossing treats to puppy or throwing scratch to chickens. Never mind that these treats were paid for by the people themselves. Did I mention the word “Dumb-Ass”?
And by now, the self blinded populace was earning wages and truy loved to be scratched behind their ears. And so it went and they remained highy docile and complacent because they were enjoying making money and money was much more important than maintaining their freedom or self-worth. They were blinded to the fact that their tax burden far exceeded what value theybwere receiving for their money. Another treat please....
And all of the politicians were happy too, because whenever they felt the urge, they would trundle merrily off to parliament with the express purpose of creating more taxation opportunities and more and more ways to remove the freedoms from their vassals. They quickly learned that citezens baffled with bullshit and enslaved to bureaucracy deity were easily controlled and manipulated.
All the while, politicians enjoyed these practices, and get this ... without the public being even remotely aware of it! You see where the “Dumb-Ass” comes into play? Canada is especially good at this, the proof being how our level of taxation pretty much leads the world. (And that's the short version.)
So in reality, looking at tarrifs and economic emergencies, tyranny and trade deficits, Canadians as a group have pretty much brought this calamity upon ourselves because they (we) do not participate in government....
Very few citizens ever express their opinions at government waste, mismanagement or downright dishonesty to the government. They happily bitch to their neighbor or workmates, friends or family but not where it will make a positive difference. Almost zero of the population oppose what they know to be wrong and/or unjust.
Sadly,the majority of Dumb-Ass Canucks simply do not care about any of those things as long as they can receive their paychecks and government hand outs on a regular basis and in increasing amounts.
So if you want to blame anyone, blame CANADIANS. How many citizens once every 4 years even get off their hairy asses and vote? How many of those who DO vote, believe that this is their only obligation? How many truly research the platforms and mindset of the political candidates they may vote for, if they even vote?
You see? The adage is true my friends. Quality in ... quality out! You get what you pay for my friends. You vote for people but have no idea what their platform is. You vote for people without the credentials to do the job you require them to do. You do not know how government works and you do not care. You prefer to sit home on your couch munching Amercan made Fritos and watching American television crap. You stuff your mind with garbage rather than take a responsible stance on investigatingthe motives of those who are governing our country.
If that is you, you should expect to lose your home and your business and your freedom because you've taken your government for granted and done nothing to prevent their manipulating you. But you're an adult so suck it up my friend and pull up your big-boy pants okay? It's time to take some responsibility for what the government does and how it treats its citizens. But will you? (Likely not.)
There are a very few true and patriotic Canadians who will take that extra step but some of you must soon do this ... for the sake of your children and the next generation. Without being monitored government will do as little as possible for your good. Our history proves this..
Keep listening and participating. There's hope for positive change ... but only if you've got the balls to speak up when you see wrong or injustice in Canada.
And to the millions of Canadians who are refusing to purchase US made goods and services, you are doing your part admirably! If that's all you can do it's plenty. If others can do more... please DO!
What I have described is important. It's no joke, it's not fiction. It is the future of your family riding upon your action or your inaction in the years ahead. The choice is yours.
